摘 要：在当今社会生活当中，信息技术的进步提升了数据的流通速度和利用效率，对于数据的分析和应用，已经成为国民生产各行各业中的必要工作流程。在此背景下，数据分析的各种方法成为人们研究的对象，而数理统计作为数据分析中最为常用的一种工具，更是受到了广泛的重视。为此，笔者对数理统计的内涵和特征进行了论述，对数理统计的背景和现状进行了分析，在此基础上，笔者又对数理统计在数据分析中的应用步骤和具体应用进行了探讨。希望本文的论述，能够促进数理统计在数据分析中应用的广泛性和科学性，从而充分发挥其在社会政治经济生活中的重要作用。

Abstract：In today’s social life，the progress of information technology has improved the speed of data circulation and utilizationefficiency，the analysis and application of data has become a necessary work flow in all walks of life of national production. In thiscontext，various methods of data analysis have become the object of study，and mathematical statistics，as one of the most commonlyused tools in data analysis，has received widespread attention. Therefore，the author discusses the connotation and characteristics ofmathematical statistics，analyzes the background and current situation of mathematical statistics，and on this basis，the author discussesthe application steps and specific application of mathematical statistics in data analysis. It is hoped that the discussion in this paper canpromote the universality and scientificity of the application of mathematical statistics in data analysis，so as to give full play to itsimportant role in social，political and economic life.
