摘 要：随着科学技术的发展，视频监控技术的应用范围越来越广，不仅大街小巷随处可以见到视频监控设备的影子，而且安防类的监控设备也走进了人们的家庭生活当中。与此同时，视频监控终端所产生的视频数据量也十分庞大，为了进一步挖掘视频信息中的价值数据信息，必须重视视频大数据技术的研究。本文将简单阐述视频大数据的特点及发展现状，并深入研究其在公安行业的应用，为相关工作者提供参考借鉴。

Abstract：With the development of science and technology，the application scope of video surveillance technology is more an more wide. Not only can the shadow of video surveillance equipment be seen everywhere in the streets，but the security monitoring equipment also enters people’s family life. At the same time，the amount of video data generated by the video surveillance terminal is also very large. In order to further explore the value data information in the video information，it is necessary to pay attention to the research of the video big data technology. This article will briefly explain the characteristics and development status of video big data，and in-depth study of its application in the public security industry，to provide reference for relevant workers.
