Research on Maya Angelou Based on VOSviewer (2001-2021)

Abstract: With the aid of VOSviewer, a scientific measurement tool, supplemented by traditional analysis methods, this paper takes the papers collected by CNKI as the data source, and makes the visualization analysis from the post number, post publication, the main researchers and research institutions, keywords and other aspects to know the research development trajectory and predict the research prospects. The research found that the academic circles are lack of research on Maya and her works, with insufficient breadth and depth of research, cross repeated research themes and fields, and lack of comprehensiveness and integrity, which is greatly disproportionate to Maya’s literary status in the international arena.
